San Francisco is getting it’s most interesting art installation yet

When it comes to modern day art, augmented reality is the name of the game. And proving so is an immersive media company -Onedome that recently opened doors to a magical tech wonderland called – ‘The Unreal Garden’. The exclusive exhibit is touted as the very augmented reality art space by the company and it is taking Instagram by the storm already!

The enchanted wonderland involves four elements of reality, namely- the physical, the spatial, the 2D/3D representations and a generous touch of AR. Inside the space, guests can touch, feel and interact with life-like natural forms such as a waterfall, stream, pond, and a hobbit house. Gleaming plants and animals can also be spotted some of which have specifically been created for the exhibit. Commenting on the launch, Onedome Chief Strategy Officer Leila Amirsadeghi said, “With The Unreal Garden, we are updating the art gallery experience for the 21st century to make it feel more open and welcoming to everyone, not just classic art aficionados…We intend to bring people closer to the magic of reality and wish to see our guests in the breathless excitement when wonder, awe, and joy collide. We hope that they will feel inspired, connected, and eager to share the experience with friends and family.”

The art exhibit also comes with a lounge and café wherein guests can enjoy herbal-infused snacks and mocktails and try their hand at creating some virtual art. Onedome further plans to open ten more venues across America over the next three years, apart from the ten-year lease on their current building.
