Audemars Piguet has released a trio of Royal Oak Offshore references for the summer season. Preserving the highly successful blueprint of the Royal Oak Offshore collection, the three new watches boast distinctive case sizes, different color schemes, materials, dial combinations, and strap options. The first of the triad is the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Flyback Chronograph.
The 43mm case and bezel are made out of stainless steel, while the crown and push-pieces are executed in black ceramic. The timepiece features a Habanos-inspired smoked bronze Mega Tapisserie dial with the darkened edges smoothly transitioning to a lighter center. Housed inside the case is caliber 4401, the Swiss watchmaker’s integrated flyback chronograph movement that offers 70 hours of power reserve. The watch comes equipped with a brown alligator strap with an Oxford hand-finished patina and is priced at $41,600.
The second timepiece in the collection is the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding, which features an elegant 37mm case crafted from 18-carat pink gold. Interestingly, the gold bezel is coated with grey rubber, which is matched by a grey flange and a mosaic-effect rubber bracelet.
The dial boasts a Grande Tapisserie pattern and features an ivory hue with a polished finish. The timepiece is powered by AP’s 5900 self-winding caliber, which has 60 hours of power reserve. It is priced at $47,200.
The final timepiece in the collection is another Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding that gets a bigger 43mm case made out of stainless steel. This watch also features a rubber-coated bezel, which is color-matched to the Mega Tapisserie smoked blue dial and the rubber strap. The rhodium-toned gold hour markers, along with the stainless steel case, screws, and the crown, add contrast to the timepiece, giving it a dual-tone look. The timepiece is powered by AP’s Selfwinding Caliber 4302. which offers a 70-hour power reserve. It also comes with an additional black rubber strap and is priced at $27,400.
