After two romantic V-day editions of their Vanguard Lady watch, Franck Muller have proved that they know the best way to incorporate feminine design elements into a watch. Their Vanguard Lady Moonphase timepiece features the signature curved case, Guilloché dial and applied Arabic numerals that we know and love, but this time with a splashy red strap and matching crown detail.
The 18k rose gold case perfectly complements the flame colored strap and inside is the caliber FM 1000L6. The manually wound mechanical movement beats at 18 800vph and offers a power reserve of 40 hours. The moon phase complication is seen at 6 o’clock, with the actual moon phases visible through a mother-of-pearl aperture.
There’s an element of grace and elegance to this delightful watch, but the bright red alligator strap also makes it feel fun and young. However, if the color if not to your liking, Franck Muller does make several other versions of this watch including some with diamond pave cases.
