Breitling for Bentley collection which blends the Swiss artistry of horology with British craftsmanship has given us some of the most elegant timepieces including pocket watch made in honor of W O Bentley and the Bentley GMT chronograph. The Swiss watchmaker has added another chronograph to the collection which pays its tribute to the biggest Bentley engine, the famous 6.75 liter version powering the Mulsanne. The Bentley 6.75 chronograph wears a graceful midnight-hued livery which is achieved by a special ultra-resistant carbon-based treatment. It beautifully accents the satin-brushed steel case with its taut, dynamic lines. The design of the 6.75 chronograph resembles the rest of the collection but has a special five-spoke motif in the dial reprising the design of Bentley wheels.
The Bentley 6.75 chronograph is fitted with black rubber straps with a central matching pattern to the bezel. This strap is fastened using a push button folding clasp made from DLC stainless steel. The movement of this timepiece is the COSC certified self-winding caliber 44B which beats at 28,800 VpH and is fitted with 38 jewels. The main crown of the timepiece is screw locked enabling the water resistance to be maintained at 100 meters or 330 feet. The entirely black clad Breitling for Bentley 6.75 is a limited series edition and only 1000 examples will be made.
