The timepiece features a COSC-certified automatic movement with chronograph functions. The engraved ceramic bezel serves as a tachometer for calculating speeds. This model is 20 percent lighter than earlier all-ceramic J12 models. This is made possible by the addition of aluminum. The back of the case is the black sapphire, and a special Chanel Superleggera signature is visible through the crystal.
The dial has a 30-minute totalizer at 9 and seconds subdial at 3. A date aperture is positioned between 4 and 5, and the Superleggera signature in red appears at 6.
