Hublot honors architect Oscar Niemeyer with the Aero Bang Niemeyer watch

Hublot, now the official timekeeper of the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, sure knows how to pay a hearty tribute to those who deserve the same. In honor of the country’s capital Brasilia, Hublot has pulled the veil off the Aero Bang Niemeyer series that also pays tribute to one of the country’s most celebrated figures, architect Oscar Niemeyer. Working exclusively in conjunction with Hublot for the series, Niemeyer will also celebrate his 104th birthday this December. The Aero Bang Niemeyer series will also mark the master architect’s birthday with just 104 pieces planned to be created. Using an elegant matt black skeleton dial and a Chronograph caliber HUB4214, the watch also pays tribute to Brazil with its yellow and green indexes and hands.
