Jaeger-LeCoultre will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Reverso this year with an exhibition showcasing its history in a dedicated space close to the Heritage Gallery located at the Le Sentier factory. It features historical printed materials as well as pattern books alongside Reverso examples from 1931 to the present day. The Reverso boasts a rectangular Art Deco-style case with an ‘ingenious’ case mechanism. Some prominent earlier designs include models with lacquer dials which were highly sought-after by collectors. There were also timepieces that that could be personalized. Over time the watches were modified to suit current tastes and the exhibition has the modern hand-in-hand with the ancient.
If you are interested to check out the exhibition, you will need to book an appointment through your local Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique.
