The Ateliers de Monaco La Sirene watch is inspired by Princess Charlene

Royal weddings are quite a royal affair and often these events ensure that the opulence loving commoners get some great things to buy. The royal wedlock between Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock inspired Ateliers de Monaco La Sirene. The dial has been modeled around King Protea (Protea cynaroides), which is the national flower of South Africa the home country of Princess Charlene. Set inside a 39mm 18-carat white gold case the watch features a Swiss automatic movement that uses “Silicium escapement and an engraved rotor”. The watch is priced at € 80,000 ($114,500).
