These crocodile- skinned golden shoes are the most expensive sneakers in the world

A lesser-known, yet highly efficient US brand- Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) recently introduced a brand new pair of sneakers that is nothing like you have ever seen before. Made from crocodile skin dipped in 24k gold, this limited edition shoe range has already bagged the title of the most expensive shoes ever and is making audiences go curious and crazy!

Co-founded in 2009 by twin brothers- Adam and Ryan Goldston, APL is founded on the notion of combining design and performance with a vision of creating ground-breaking merchandise. Focusing majorly on sportswear, the company is known for its revolutionary range of footwear and accessories, created for both – men and women. In a similar endeavor to deliver more than just the ordinary, the duo recently introduced their exclusive footwear that is made wholly out of crocodile skin (a material never used before in shoes) for a long-lasting and supple shoe life. Moreover, the sneakers are dunked in the 24K gold for an exquisite finish.

While ideas like this one are never a day’s job, APL’s crocodile sneakers are also a result of a two-year-long process. Further, each pair of these unique sneakers are made to order, meaning you cannot walk away with them instantly. After making a 100 percent advance payment and choosing their own set of customizations, the customers will be required to wait patiently for the 12-week lead time. Costing you a whopping $20k, these sneakers are currently available at Dubai’s Level Shoe District and will soon retail on the company’s webpage – APLrunning.com.
