We’ve got a newcomer in the fine jewelry neighborhood by the name Savelli. Owned by former financier Alessandro Savelli, the Geneva-based brand has brilliantly managed to create a stir in the industry. As a debut, the luxury brand has unveiled an exquisite collection of smartphones designed specifically for women. Jardin Secret is a collection that consists of 11 seductive mobile pieces that would allure you with its curves, exotic leather wraps, and 18-carat rose gold, ceramic and precious stone encrusts. The idea was to create a “shape that was feminine, curvaceous, but at the same time modern, a disruptive design.” True to its ideation, Savelli has produced a set of mysteriously enchanting phones that charm. And why not, when exotic skins like blue ostrich, black alligator, and pearly iguana are used. To achieve the almond shape, the entrepreneur opted for a curved screen made of the same sapphire crystal glass used for luxury watches. Savelli boasts of Italian ancestors who used to work in watch and jewelry manufacturing. From there, half of the materials have been acquired, and the other half from the technology produced therein. French DJ and record producer Stéphane Pompougnac have developed the ringtones.
The smartphones created by Savelli run on Google Android and range from $9,000 to $118,000 and more. The brand will soon be hosting a launch party at the Musée Jacquemart-André on July 3, co-hosted by Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, who stars in the brand’s debut advertising campaign, shot by Patrick Demarchelier. The collection will go on sale in July and will be available at retailers, including Printemps in Paris and Harrods in London.
