This Bluetooth speaker is made from Porsche 911 GT3 tailpipe cover

There is no doubt that the Porsche 911 GT3 is one glorious machine thanks to its 4.0-liter flat-six engine and the beautifully tuned exhaust system. A little more than a year back, Porsche Design introduced a $3000 Bluetooth speaker crafted out of the shell of Porsche 911 GT3’s exhaust system. The company has launched another Bluetooth speaker and this time round it is made using the original tailpipe cover of the 911 GT3. Much more compact that the speaker system launched last year, this unit only includes the blacked-out high-gloss muffler tip of the twin-pipe center exhaust, which houses the speaker system.

The Porsche Bluetooth speaker weighs 3.3kg (7.2lb) and measures 290 x 155 x 120 mm. The system’s output is 60-watt and it features Bluetooth 4.0 and apt-X technology to ensure pure, natural bass and precise tones. Available at selected Porsche Design stores, the Porsche 911 Bluetooth speaker is selling for £425 (approximately $550).
