Inside Paris’ new floating hotel: the Off Paris Seine


The city of lights and love is enticing travelers with a brand new attraction that’s sure to create some excitement. Believe it or not, the Seine River has become home to the world’s first floating hotel. The hotel is docked by Austerlitz station and is complete with 54 rooms, 4 suites, a bar, and a plunge pool, among other features. Called Off Paris Seine, Maurizio Galante and Tal Lancman designed this innovative property. The project was realized by Gérard Ronzatti of Seine Design (a firm that actually specializes in floating architecture).

The designers added interesting touches to the décor including a 250-year-old piece of wood which tops the copper reception desk,

The hotel is open daily from 5 p.m. – 1 a.m. for cocktails and tapas at the bar.
