Anastasia Beverly Hills acknowledges renaissance with latest palette

If you love makeup, you have probably been waiting with bated breath for Anastasia Beverly Hills to release a new eyeshadow palette. Well, that day has finally come. Anastasia Beverly Hills has released their Modern Renaissance palette, and what’s more, it’s here to stay. Other palettes from Anastasia Beverly Hills have been limited edition and usually sold out quickly. But Modern Renaissance will be added to the permanent line, so there is no need for the initial mad rush to the website. Although why you would want to wait to get your hands on these gorgeous shades, which look set to be for eyeshadow what the Louboutin Pigalle is to shoes, is anyone’s guess.

Claudia Soare, president of Anastasia Beverly Hills and incidentally Anastasia Soare’s daughter, described the palette as a modern take on a classic, inspired by the paint and resin used in Renaissance paintings. The palette consists of 14 neutral and berry shades in total, 11 matte and 3 metallics, making it the ultimate day-to-night collection. If previous Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows are any indication, these shades are sure to have a buttery smooth texture and will be a dream to blend.

Founded in 1997 by Romanian-born Anastasia Soare, Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of the fastest-growing beauty brands around and largely credited with making brow products a multi-million dollar business by starting the brow revolution. Since then, ABH has added the contour kit and liquid lipstick to their list of product innovations and counts stars like Victoria Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Naomi Campbell, and Kim Kardashian to the faithful client list.

Anastasia Soare came to America after attending cosmetology school with no language skills but could leverage her entrepreneurial spirit and determination to develop her eponymous brand. Claudia, known on social media as Norvina, started by working in her mother’s salon in Beverly Hills as a receptionist and has since grown with the company. She was also one of the first to understand the power of a strong social media presence and built her profile early on. This has allowed her to build a unique relationship with her customer base. This connection with her customers has benefitted the Anastasia Beverly Hills vision, leading to top-performing formulas and setting visionary trends.

For inspiration on how to wear the Modern Renaissance palette, look no further than Norvina’s own Instagram page. When asked, Norvina said of her very first permanent palette: “I wanted to make something beautiful and timeless, since this palette is permanent. Beauty fades, and the real challenge was creating a palette that is useful to your daily life once it’s no longer brand new.” The palette currently consists of warm tones, but if you are more of a cool-toned beauty, then you may not have to wait for too long for a palette to suit you. If the palette does well, Norvina has promised a cool-toned version. And looking at this gorgeous array of colors, one imagines that day will come soon.
