Anant, the son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, stunned onlookers by casually walking into a kids’ birthday party wearing a $6 million Richard Mille 56-01 Tourbillon Green Sapphire watch.

Anant Ambani, the scion of Reliance Industries, belongs to the richest family in Asia. His father, Mukesh, is worth $101 billion and controls Reliance Industries. In true tycoon style, Anant was spotted casually strutting around in a Richard Mille 56-01 Tourbillon “Green Sapphire.” It is not only a rare edition of the RM 056 Tourbillon Chronograph Sapphire but also happens to be worth a lot of money that most people don’t even witness in a lifetime. Said to be worth $6 million and decked out in green sapphire, Anant Ambani’s time-telling possession is one of the most expensive price tags ever to be crafted by the Mille brand.

Per Hypebeast, rare green sapphire crystals highlight the watch’s entire winding tourbillon movement. The manual winding tourbillon movement is highlighted thanks to the components that allow as much light as possible to come into the caliber. The production of this sapphire structure took years of research and testing to ensure an adequate response to the demands of strength and comfort. This complex watch features a manual winding tourbillon movement with hours, minutes, chronograph split seconds, power reserve, torque, and function indicators.

It is indeed a luxury timepiece that suits the uncrowned prince of India. 28-year-old Anant Ambani, the youngest of three children of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, heads the energy businesses of Reliance Industries and its global operations in renewable and green energy. He is a connoisseur of luxury timepieces and has often shocked onlookers with his incredible watches. This time, he did so by wearing the coveted timepiece to the first birthday celebration of his sister Isha’s twins, Aadiya and Krishna.

Anant Ambani’s coveted luxury watch collection:

His father, Mukesh Ambani, may be Asia’s richest man who makes do with an $8,300 Rolex, but Anant Ambani has shown an ultra-expensive taste and more than makes up for his father’s lack of fancy watches. His personal watch collection includes some of the most exclusive horological creations by leading luxury watchmakers like Patek Philippe and Richard Mille.

The dazzling Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked

As a matter of fact, the heir owns a completely iced iteration of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked worth $3.3 million. The bejeweled timepiece features a 41mm 18-carat pink gold case buried under a whopping 436 baguette-cut diamonds. In addition to the case, these glittering components were also embedded on the bracelet and bezel.

The rare Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime Reference 6300G is considered the holy grail of horology.

If anything can top these two aforementioned examples, it is Ambani’s $9 million Patek Philippe. With a total of 20 complications, the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime Reference 6300G is touted to be the most complicated Patek wristwatch ever. The youngest Ambani descendant sported this masterpiece at the grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) – a first-of-its-kind, state-of-the-art venue created to celebrate the rich cultural history of India. A stellar timepiece to match a stupendous occasion. With his impending nuptials to his childhood sweetheart, we wonder if his wrists will sport his best timepieces yet.

Note – As of writing this article, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Mukesh Ambani is worth $101 billion.
