Firebrand politician and activist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is no stranger to America. Even those who don’t know much about the political scene know AOC. Ocasio-Cortez won accolades for becoming the youngest woman ever to serve in the United States Congress. And after having attended the elite Met Gala in ‘Tax the Rich’ dress, she is now a red-carpet-strutting antithesis of everything she stands for. Wearing a ‘tax the rich’ dress to the most celebrated elitist event in America actually makes zero sense. You cant toast and talk with the class of people you are after wearing a dress that is propaganda against them on the pretext that a ‘working-class woman’ made it to a high-profile event and broke open tight, uninviting doors to make the event more accessible.
The activist claimed she was ‘invited’ to the $35,000-a-head Met Gala but didn’t mention if it was free or if someone actually paid the amount. Her responses were defensive, to say the least, with clarifications as follows on Twitter, ‘And before haters get wild flying off the handle, New York elected officials are routinely invited to and attend the Met due to our responsibilities in overseeing and supporting the city’s cultural institutions for the public. I was one of several in attendance in this evening.’
She also explained her choice of dress via a post on Instagram that read, ‘Proud to work with @aurorajames as a sustainably focused, Black woman immigrant designer who went from starting her dream @brothervellies at a flea market in Brooklyn to winning the @cfda against all odds – and then work together to kick open the doors at the Met. The time is now for childcare, healthcare, and climate action for all. Tax the Rich.’
What makes @AOC a bigger fraud:
The "tax the rich" dress while she's hanging out with a bunch of wealthy leftwing elites or the lack of masks after spending the past 18 months as one of the biggest authoritarian mask Karens in the country? https://t.co/pE84Pjquh1

The hilarious responses and tweets of some prominent names have been published by NYPost with Donald Trump Jr. asking, “What makes @AOC a bigger fraud: The ‘tax the rich’ dress while she’s hanging out with a bunch of wealthy leftwing elites or the lack of masks after spending the past 18 months as one of the biggest authoritarian mask Karens in the country?”
It’s time the super-wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share in taxes.

Dave Portnoy tweeted, “Tax the Rich”……But first, I’m gonna go have the time of my life partying with them all at the most extravagant over-the-top party of the year that is essentially a celebration of richness.” The one person who agreed with Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez’s Met Gala skit was President Joe Biden.
A table at the Met Gala costs around $275,000 and an individual ticket costs $30,000.
If @AOC hates the rich so much, why is she attending an event that only the wealthiest people in America can afford to attend?
I wonder if any journalists will do their job and ask her. https://t.co/lgMHCiJdKX

According to Dailymail the President tweeted in AOC’s support saying, ‘It’s time the super-wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share in taxes.’ Mask-less Ocasio-Cortez joined other left-wing leaders like Mayor Bill de Blasio at the exclusive New York bash wearing New York-based Aurora James. The furor she caused on social media has also attracted the attention of the American Accountability Foundation (AAF), which has now filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., over her attendance at the lavish Met Gala in New York City Monday night, according to Foxnews
