Over 800 guests arrived in the tiny comune in the Metropolitan City of Genoa on the Italian Riviera for the grand finale of their 4-day cruise celebration. The pre-wedding festivities of his son Anant and Radhika ransformed the town, which boasts a population of a mere 400, into a lively and exclusive celebration.
For one day, on June 1st, the high-profile guests disembarked to turn the town, with its colorful buildings lining the shore, into the Ambani family’s personal promenade of parties, themed ‘La Dolce Vita.’ Not only did the affluent clan of Asia’s richest man, worth $109 billion, take over the town, but they also cordoned off significant areas overlooking the pier to ensure privacy and security for their distinguished guests.
Every detail was meticulously planned, with the dress code for the event being Italian summer chic. The resplendent decor featured extravagant floral arrangements, baskets of fresh fruits, tables adorned with Italian-themed covers and centerpieces, and various pop-ups serving hot chocolate, burgers, and cheese toast stacks, among many other delicacies. Entertaining game stalls, such as shoot the duck, darts, and Portofino postcards, provided further amusement for the guests.
The festivities began at the perfectly timed golden hour, 5:30 p.m., and continued until 10:30 p.m. Adding to the magical ambiance was a performance by world-renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli, whose powerful vocals serenaded the guests and filled the air with romance, much to the delight of the Ambani family and their guests.
