Beckham’s pet pooch travels on $3,300 first class ticket to L.A.

Whoever still uses the age old adage, “it’s a dog’s life”, has definitely not met the new league of pampered pooches these days. These pets are treated at par if not more with their high profile owners. The latest pooch to get the high profile pampering treatment was none other than footballer David Beckham’s cute British Bulldog pup. The adorable puppy gifted to the footballer by his wife Victoria as a Christmas gift, was flown first class to their Los Angeles home by pet transportation company, PetAir. The glamorous couple shelled out £2,000 ($3,300) (for the ticket) to make sure their adorable pup travelled comfortably. The pampered journey for the pup began with a slap-up meal at the home of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay (the pup had been staying with the chef since the New Year). This little pup is promising to grow into one spoilt pampered pooch.

PetAir’s ‘Gold Standard’ includes airline ticket, custom-made wooden travel container with bedding and water, a pre-travel health exam and one night in the care of a vet.
