Billionaire Kim Kardashian’s label Skims to dress Team U.S.A. in loungewear and sleepwear for the 2021 Olympics

Kim Kardashian will be smiling ear-to-ear today as Skims will be designing the official undergarments, pyjamas, and loungewear for Team USA to wear at the Olympics and Paralympics. Kim Kardashian West announced the partnership on Monday, on Instagram by sharing images of Team U.S.A. athletes modeling the collection. Clearly ecstatic, she posted, “Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of @TeamUSA, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle.”

The Team USA loungewear was modeled by soccer player Alex Morgan and Paralympian Scout Basset. They were sporting cotton sports bras and briefs in colors light grey and taupe; the bra comes with a scooped neckline while briefs show off a stylish ribbed, high-waisted waistband along with the USA flag and the Olympics/ Paralympic logo are stitched on in the center in white.

On Instagram, Bassett called the capsule collection “a DREAM,” adding that she was “thrilled to be part of the new @skims Team USA capsule that celebrates female athletes!” Gold medal-winning track and field athlete Dalilah Muhammad meanwhile wrote that she “can’t wait to look this good in the Olympic village.”

Needless to say, female athletes on Team USA will receive the collection for free. For everyone else, the line will be available for consumers to purchase in July—just in time for the Games’ opening ceremony on July 23.
