Having famous friends usually catapults one to instant fame. A throwback image, a birthday post, a vacation groupie that’s all it takes. Most people love to piggyback on a famous friend’s shoulders to achieve success, but that’s not Allison Statter. In fact, this La native is the exact opposite of that. Despite being lifelong close friends with Kim Kardashian since elementary school, hiding it from the world is no small feat. Of course, she only managed it till Kim posted a heartfelt message on Instagram. The tribute left Kim’s most ardent followers and her BFF baffled. Allison Statter became famous on her 40th birthday not as the businesswoman or daughter of music mogul Irving Azoff, but as Kim’s oldest and dearest friend. Let’s learn a little more about the woman that’s undoubtedly got a firm head on her shoulders:

This LA native has a famous father:
Statter was born to parents Shelli Azoff and music and entertainment legend Irving Azoff, famous for managing iconic artists, including the Eagles and Jon Bon Jovi. The 42-year-old has three siblings she grew up with in the Beverly Hills suburb. Her mother was close friends with Kris Jenner, and their camaraderie extended to Allison and Kim in elementary school. Statter refers to herself humbly as a “college dropout.” She left school after her sophomore year to work for her father’s company, Azoff Music Management, where she stayed for 17 years, only to discover her true calling in 2015- Blended Strategy Group.

The Kim Konnection:
Kim Kardashian’s inner circle is tight, and Statter is among her ‘lifers.’ “I know I always say ‘my BFF,’ and I definitely have lots of them, but Allison and I go way, way back,” revealed Kardashian, as per People.

Statter has been present for all milestone occasions in her bestie’s life, from her baby shower to her 2013 engagement, albeit in the background. “Allison is like the first person that I would call if there was like a huge family drama. Like, before anyone.” Statter responded, “And I would do the same. We’re basically as close as you get to sisters without having blood.”

Allison chose an offbeat career path:
The supermom and entrepreneur responsible for altering the influencer and celebrity talent ecosystem since 2015 put in many years of work before addressing her true calling. In a Forbes interview, Statter revealed, “I’ve always worked. I spent my summers as a teen as a receptionist and in salons cleaning out the hair bins or the trash cans. I went to college for two years, but it wasn’t a fit. Coming home, I ended up working at a West Hollywood salon with a dream to be a makeup artist.”

A two-week help for dad in his office turned into a seventeen-year stint in talent management. At her father’s company, she managed musical powerhouses like J. Lo, Christina Aguilera, and Jewel while brokering global brand deal partnerships with Fortune 500 companies like Pepsi and L’Oreal.

She co-founded Blended Strategy Group:
After achieving everything her father’s company offered, Allison Statter desired to branch out and succeed as an individual. She partnered with Sherry Jhawar and launched a successful creative marketing & communications agency in 2015, focusing on entertainment, PR, and social media. Blended Strategy Group worked with the likes of Nina Dubrov, Chelsea Handler, Kendall Jenner, Jen Atkin, Seth Rogan, and more.

This multitasker is a mom to three kids:
It wouldn’t be wrong to dub Allison music royalty, but she is pleasingly subdued regardless of being encircled by world-famous faces. The same goes with her personal life, which looks endearingly ordinary on social media. There is no pretense nor filters, only authentic pieces of her daily life and special moments like Christmas mornings, vacations to London, Hawaii, or Aspen. Her husband, Richard Statter, is an executive at United Talent Agency in LA. Together they are raising their three sons in a large mansion in Bel Air.

KKW x Allison
This six-piece collection was a tribute to their friendship of many decades. Consisting of mainly quick and easy basics, the KKW x Allison makeup collection put their friendship pre-date fame, marriage, and babies on the map. “I always remember Allison and I getting ready for prom,” shared Kim with Allure. “I would use any and all of Kim’s eye shadows,” Statter added. She continued, “Kim used to match her makeup to whatever she was wearing.” Packaging of the makeup line witnessed collages and photo albums they made together. They covered the collection with throwback pictures.

She lives in a $15.2 million mansion in Bel Air:
Statter displayed similarities to the Kardashian clan when it came to her home. Her lavish home is set within a 24/7 guard-gated community and flaunts prominent neighbors like Lakers legend Jerry West and podcasters Ethan and Hila Klein. According to Dirt, the Tudor-influenced manor was built in the early 1980s but underwent a complete makeover. The front door reveals a grand two-story foyer with sparkling hardwood floors, a contemporary chandelier, and curved staircases.

The home has an office, a formal dining room, and a black marble fireplace. The highlight is a family room with a wet bar and rows of French doors accessing the gardens. In addition to this mega-mansion, Statter owns three smaller houses in the Beverly Hills area, plus a luxurious Montecito vacation home.
