Disney teams up with Thomas Wylde to create a fashion collection for ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’

Walt Disney Studio’s latest film “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” is all set to be released on May 27 and taking inspiration from the movie characters, Thomas Wylde, the Los Angeles-based designer firm, have unveiled a capsule collection for costumes of the “White Queen,” “Red Queen,” and “Time”. A few pieces from the capsule will be showcased at the Thomas Wylde’s fall collection during New York Fashion Week, this Monday.

The collection will be released in stores at the same time as the film releases. The movie will see Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland, as she travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter. The “White Queen” look is a high-in-front, low-in-back day dress while the “Red Queen” look features a blood-red overcoat in wool/cashmere, with a plush hand and sharply tailored silhouette.
