Karl Lagerfeld not only dolls up divas but also gets dolled up. The designer has already wowed his fans in a Tokidoki doll avatar and in video game too. Now he is keen to up his alliance with the Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand by launching a special capsule collection. Tokidoki is a Italian brand which is renowned for making dolls, clothes and accessories printed with the cartoonized images of celebrities as well as brands. The Karl Lagerfeld x Tokidoki collection will include three dolls along with fashionable clothes and accessories. All set to hit Net-a-Porter from 1st July, the collection will dole out a perfect blend of Karl’s spirit and Tokidoki’s playfulness.
Holli Rogers, Fashion Director at Net-a-Porter, states, “We’re so excited to be partnering with Karl Lagerfeld as the exclusive online retailer for the Tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld collection. These fun and playful pieces truly encompass the spirit of Karl.”
