Lancôme collaborates with Reuge and Baccarat to create an ultra-limited La Vie est Belle edition fragrance

What happens when a leading luxury cosmetics house meets a Swiss music box maker and a French crystal maker? La Vie est Belle, luxury edition, merci beaucoup! The collector’s edition of Lancôme’s women’s fragrance collaborates with Reuge and Baccarat, each lending an elusive elegance to the exquisite handmade decadence.

Nestling underneath two glass bell jars within a handcrafted music box, replete with a miniature crystal chandelier, the La Vie est Belle bottle is très belle, to say the least. When the button on the front of Reuge’s box is pressed, Venus can be heard crooning “Beautiful Days,” much like the La Vie est Belle campaign. Baccarat pays its own homage to the Julia Roberts advert by glittering the crystal chandelier succinctly suspended from the box roof. Made up of 133 crystal drops and 48 crystal tubes, it is a shining reminder of the film for the fragrance.

Each element of the 15 boxes was lavished with 120 days of labor, and the ultra-limited edition will soon be available at the Lancôme Institut. The brand’s spa in Paris will stock it from November 15, but before that, October 28 on, the Sephora store on the Champs-Elysées will begin its showing. The price of its exclusive piece will only be available upon request.
