The Lego Hermes Birkin sets are something that we wish were available for Christmas

The marriage of Lego and AI seems to be a rock-solid one, with the offspring emerging from this unexpected union being simply amazing. The older offspring were the sought-after Rolexes and Audemars Piguet, and the second round is akin to the fun yet equally luxurious Hermès’ Birkin bags. Known for being extremely pricey and circulating among a select few affluent ladies of the planet, the exorbitantly priced accessory has now donned a new, unnatural, and perhaps fake avatar in its Lego versions.

The post, shared by Instagram user @glam.tol, was a carousel of images showing kits for making Lego versions of this highly unattainable luxury good. A Birkin Lego kit would allow individuals to own a simulacrum of the bespoke handbag, build it from scratch, and not spend their lifetime savings. There are stunning visuals of other Hermès goodies like a Lego Kelly and a Lego belt. Charming as this is, it is AI-generated, but considering the attention these creative images are garnering, the luxury labels might be forced to consider offering fans at least one real version.

The Instagram post received interesting comments from followers, such as ‘I’d buy these so fast,’ and ‘wow, if only these were real.’ The Danish brand, founded in 1932, is a global cultural phenomenon that has had several versions of the Birkin handbags, but nothing remotely close to a Lego version. Maybe it’s time to bring the bricks to Birkins!
