Louis Vuitton appears to be giving Hermes a run for their money when it comes to expensive and unnecessary household items. Kim Jones – creative director of menswear at LV– teased one of the brand’s newest products on his Instagram – it’s a billiards table, complete with monogrammed billiard balls and a leather covered rack. The stylish close up reveals an LV logo on the white cue ball and a monogram print on the fabric that covered the table.
Do you need a Louis Vuitton pool table? Um, no. Are you going to want it anyway? Probably. Its worth will most likely increase with time as objects like these end up fetching a pretty penny at auction most of the time. In the meanwhile, think how good it will look right next to your Hermes magazine rack.
