The company may be famed for their handbags, but they’ve also cornered the market on superfluous home items. Fringed Leather Horse? Check. Designer playing cards? Check. How about a $23,000 magazine rack? Yep, that’s in the Hermes catalogue too now.
The Equilibre d’Hermes magazine rack is now available on the brand’s e-store for $23,400. That’s pretty expensive even by Hermes standards, I mean this is the company that gave us skateboards worth $2,900. According to the description, the rack has a solid natural maplewood structure and a bag made of Taurillon H leather.
Hermes is good at a lot of things, but fairly priced homeware isn’t one of them. But Hermes fans need not get up in arms, we only roast the brands we love.
