Now that New Year celebration week is officially behind us, we’re all set to ditch the dreary cold weather and hit the sunkissed beaches of Hawaii. Perhaps erratic travelers like us, were on the minds of the designers at Missoni Home who have created a series of luxe travel gear for those who just can’t live without their pillow. Created in collaboration with Seaside Luxe, one travel set consists of a blanket and pillow, held together with a vintage style leather strap. A second beach set consists of a beach towel and outdoor pillow along within a towel bag.
The textiles used in each of the collection’s offerings is Missoni’s signature chevron print, in simple but eye catching hues. “I do not consider myself a designer but a lifestyle setter,” said Rosita Missoni of Missoni Home, “design is making everyday things (a space, a house, a piece of furniture, an object) look new and comfortable yet surprising and desirable – for me, it has to be a must have.”
The kits are available exclusively at select Seaside Luxe retail locations including Four Seasons Maui, Four Seasons Orlando, Four Seasons Hualalai and Four Seasons Lanai. The Beach Set is priced at $524 while travel sets begin at $605.
