Montblanc launches a luggage collection that’s ready for Business Class

Montblanc, usually known for their elaborate limited edition pens and accessories, are stepping into a new market with the launch of their very first line of luggage. The brand’s #MY4810 Trolley Collection is a five piece collection consisting of suitcases in different sizes to suit different needs.

“At Montblanc, we are well known for being with our clients as lifetime companions,” said Nicolas Baretzki, Montblanc CEO, according to Forbes. “Our clients take a bit of Montblanc at all stages of the day: The watch, the wallet, the writing instrument, the eye glasses. With our clients so much more on the move, a full luggage collection was definitely something that was missing.”

The collection includes a pilot case, two cabin-sized trolley suitcases and two larger ones. The all black suitcases feature a polycarbonate shell and nylon lining on the interior with leather details on the handles. Montblanc will customize a luggage tag with the owner’s initials for those seeking a personal element.

High quality materials were sourced to put this collection together. Wheels with the capacity for 360 degree rotation were obtained from Japan, and the telescopic handles from Germany. The bag comes with a removable charger.

This collection may be suitable for business travelers, but it’s not tempting us to ditch our Fendi x Rimowa favorites.
