This fall, 13 Fashion Designers will reinvent the Barbie doll

Barbie has been quite an integral part of our childhood with their neon pink frocks and their blonde locks! This fall, Paris’ Le Molière will be host to an exclusive exhibit where thirteen Barbie dolls will be given a fabulous makeover by fashion designers! Think Ba&Sh, Carolina Ritz and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac amongst others. Located in Saint-Germain-Des-Prés, this exclusive creperie seems to be the ideal place for a Barbie event – for one, the entire cafe is dipped in pink, with cute furniture and black chalkboards.

Studio Harcourt Paris will also be a part of this unique exhibit by immortalizing ten dolls, the photos of which will be displayed at this exhibit!

Of course, we have always associated Barbie to be purely a doll, but in recent times, Mattel’s creation represents almost 50 nationalities and has successfully navigated from a career in architecture to veterinarian, journalist, astronaut and even fashion designer in just a few years

Tune in on September 26 and 27 to view this extremely intriguing exhibit promoting cultural diversity!
