With the release of the revolutionary iPhone 5, accessorizing companies are pouncing on every chance they get to associate the phone. New York’s the Natural Sapphire Company is one such, by introducing its jewel-encrusted case. The case is crafted in 18-carat white gold and set with 2830 blue Ceylon sapphires totaling 169.8 carats. The Apple logo is set with 38 rubies totaling 2.28 carats and a single marquise-cut green sapphire as the apple’s leaf. Made entirely in the US for $100,000, the company is offering customizable options for the case as well. The only hitch here is, what happens to the case when Apple launches the next iPhone?
