Renowned British premium audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has introduced a new version of its award-winning Zeppelin wireless speaker, created in collaboration with its long-standing partner McLaren Automotive. Called the Zeppelin McLaren Edition, the new specially designed version features a refined Galvanic Grey finish along with subtle Papaya Orange highlights, both inspired by the celebrated automaker’s design DNA. In addition to capturing McLaren’s signature aesthetic qualities, the wireless speaker offers unmatched performance and sound quality that are synonymous with Bowers & Wilkins. Additionally, Bowers & Wilkins has also created a limited-production version of the Zeppelin that celebrates the 60th anniversary of McLaren and Bruce McLaren’s legacy. Called the Zeppelin McLaren 60th Anniversary Edition, only 60 examples will be produced.
The 60th Anniversary Edition will be decked out in racing livery-inspired colors, including a vibrant orange finish. A Speedy Kiwi logo on the rear of the speaker pays tribute to Bruce McLaren and his pioneering vision. The limited edition model will be sold exclusively via select McLaren dealerships worldwide. As far as the technical specs are concerned, the Zeppelin wireless speaker comprises two 25mm Decoupled Double-Dome aluminum tweeters along with two 90mm midrange drivers that benefit from the proprietary Fixed Suspension Transducer (FST) technology.
Additionally, a 150mm woofer is mounted centrally at the heart of the Zeppelin’s structure. All the drivers are powered by 240W of amplification, which results in unmatched room-filling stereo sound. The Zeppelin McLaren Edition will be available starting today priced at $899.
