Think you’ve lost your groove waiting endlessly on the waitlist for a Hermès to land in your lap? Perhaps Hermès itself can end your predicament by giving you something foot-tapping instead of hand-grabbing. The French luxury house has done the unthinkable and given the world the Atelier Horizons Disque Jockey Club, a fully functioning DJ setup that looks so premium, only David Guetta would look ideal playing a set on this mahogany objet d’art wrapped in Pippa cowhide and enhanced with Japanese turntables.
The turntables are real, the mixer is real, and the whole setup performs with the seriousness of a proper DJ rig. Still, Hermès marrying high-fidelity sound equipment with its famed craftsmanship was certainly not on my 2026 bingo card. In a world where women endlessly flex their Birkins and Kellys, along comes an offbeat (pun intended) offering developed through Hermès’ bespoke Atelier Horizons division under creative director Axel de Beaufort. It is so ridiculously unique and delightfully Hermès that the piece effectively transforms DJ equipment into collectible furniture.
Unveiled at Milan Design Week and made in collaboration with British DJ Prince Charles, the Disque Jockey Club joins a broader Hermès home audio series that also includes leather-wrapped jukeboxes, boomboxes, and speaker systems.
The sculptural wooden console, built by French furniture artisans, is available for purchase at Hermès Berlin. Hermès has not revealed the price, but it is undoubtedly not a casual splurge, what with when the maison’s related Jukebox Perspective Cavalière is listed for over $360,000 and its connected speaker costing nearly $33,000.
