MBL 101 X-treme speakers for $180,000

Adding one more to the already long list of pricey speakers is the 101 “X-treme” from MBL Akustikgerate GmbH. Standing tall, they exhibit the highest standards of flawlessly balanced acoustically brilliant sound. The MBL 101X uses two of MBL’s unique vibrating elements, Omni-directional drivers, from the 101E, one suspended and inverted above the other, mounted on a massive platform made from carbon fiber, aluminum, steel, acrylic, and wood. Deep bass is provided by a separate tower, which stands more than 6 feet tall and houses four proprietary 12” subwoofers. With all these specs, there is no doubt that you can immerse in an abyss of acoustic pleasure right in the confines of your den. Just that you need to loot a bank to own them if you don’t have overflowing vaults!
