Snell Reference Tower A7 Speakers – $35,000 for a pair

Don’t get caught off guard! Just last weekend we posted the Klipsch Palladium Floorstander speakers. Following in its footsteps, we bring to you the Snell Acoustics’ new flagship tower loudspeaker that is priced at almost double that Klipsch flagship model. However, it’s got more to it too. It delivers the dynamic range and soundstage of a best-in-class type two-channel experience. The Reference Tower A7 Loudspeaker is the first in Snell’s “Illusion Series”. The D’Appolito Array uses dual 5.25-inch magnesium midranges mounted over and under a silk dome tweeter, combined with twin 10-inch long-throw woofers for exceptional smoothness and dynamic range. While multi-channel speaker systems have become widely desired with the growth of home theaters for surround sound, two-channel is still the way to go when it comes to true musical enjoyment. It renders output to over 110 dB, with bass rated down to 27 Hz Cast aluminum base, stabilized by four integrated feet. You can opt for Natural cherry with silver grilles or black-painted walnut with black grilles finishes, however other wood finish, color, and shading can be special ordered. But of course, all this for a towering price tag of $35,000 per pair.
