Vietnamese man ditches the brick: Builds a fence around his home using 2,000 iPhones

A fence by definition is a barrier, railing, or other upright structure, ‘typically of wood or wire’, enclosing an area of ground to prevent or control access or escape. Now that would make sense in a world without technology and iPhones but a man is redefining the very definition of a fence by covering the area around his house with iPhone cases. He clearly made himself an iFence which is leaving passersby awestruck. Tech fanatic Nguyễn Minh Hiền created this fence outside of his home by cementing more than 2,000 old iPhones in a variety of colors and models like 6, 7, and 7 Plus. These phones, though real iPhones, are not in working condition and have set the creative genius back by over $10,000 for the broken old phones. Had these phones been in working condition the fence would have cost somewhere around $1.3 million.

A home with an iFence is exactly the kind of material TikTok is hungry for and the netizens did exactly that- shower the post with a whole lot of attention. Hiền originally shared a video of his work on TikTok on 29th May, and since then, it has garnered a whopping 1.8 million views on the video-sharing platform.
