Back in 2013, Chivas Regal and Pininfarina teamed up to create limited edition display cases and a Chivas 18 Mascherone based on ‘The Drop’ theme. The scotch stalwart has collaborated with the Italian design house once again to create a quirky ice press, which presses ice into the shape of liquid droplets. In Singapore, the ice press is being showcased at selected bars, as part of a weekend getaway with purchase of Chivas 18 island-wide.
“Chivas 18 has a deep understanding of design and a proven history of working with iconic visionaries,” commented Chivas Regal Global Brand Director Richard Black on his company’s sophomore outing with design stalwart Pininfarina, following the unveiling of 2013’s metallic blue Pininfarina vessel for carrying Chivas 18. “Pininfarina is a brand that is revered globally for its expertise in the world of design, however this year we have moved the partnership even further. In creating the Chivas 18 by Pininfarina Chapter 2, we were careful to create a limited edition that is as usable as it is enjoyable. Chapter 2 epitomises Chivas Regal’s enduring commitment to excellence while marrying Pininfarina’s combination of innovative and seductive design; a celebration of form and function.” Chivas Regal also announced that every purchase of a bottle of Chivas 18 entitles one a chance to win a long weekend getaway to a private island with their friends. This campaign known as Every Drop encompasses any and all purchases of Chivas 18 in Singapore island-wide from 16th March to 15th May 2015.
