Wine and dine as the sun shines, the perfect scenario created by the coming together of the French Champagne house Dom Pérignon and Michelin three-star chef Masa Takayama. The stalwarts will offer guests a luxurious gastronomic experience aboard an extravagant superyacht in the Hamptons. The 88-foot San Lorenzo vessel is part of Dom Pérignon’s private cruise fleet for up to six guests. The experience will amalgamate Chef Masa’s unique omakase menu with Dom Pérignon’s recent vintages: Vintage 2012, Rosé 2008, and Vintage 2003 Plénitude 2. “This experience with chef Masa allows us to come together in an unexpected space that embraces our traditions while daring us to explore a culinary thrill in a place of ultimate luxury,” said Isadora Bailly, vice president of Dom Pérignon.
She added, “Aboard this yacht, we welcome a totally new realm of possibilities,” she continued. “Brought to life through the energetic dynamism of Dom Pérignon.” The four-hour journey will be a cherished memory laced with world-class food, bubbly, and the special attention of a dedicated butler, an exceptional Champagne concierge, and a DJ dishing out foot-tapping tunes. Yahoo News shared that Takayama, the chef behind the acclaimed three-star Masa in New York City, has created a unique sushi omakase menu that pairs with Dom’s recent vintages, including the 2012, the 2008 Rosé, and the 2003 Plénitude 2.
The San Lorenzo vessel will sail the waters of Sag Harbor and Montauk throughout August. Lucky guests will receive door-to-dock service by a chauffeur that will escort guests from Hamptons to either the Sag Harbor Marina or Gurney’s Star Island Marina in Montauk. The yacht packages begin at $15,000 to $30,000 if you opt for Takayama’s menu. Trips commence from August 17 through the end of the month.
