Fortnum and Mason partner with the Shard, London for the highest high tea in the city

Taking high tea to truly breathtaking heights, Fortnum and Mason and the Shard are partnering to provide a unique twist on the British tradition of evening tea. Called Sky High tea the experience will allow guests to enjoy a Fortnum & Mason ‘Hamperling’ filled with a selection of tea time snacks on Level 72 open-air sky deck that offers panoramic views of the city.

Your luxe picnic basket will include an afternoon tea sandwich selection, scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, tea fancies, tea or coffee and a blanket and optional Champagne. But if you’re truly British, you won’t care about the Champagne at all and would like to know about the tea instead. You’ll be thrilled to know that Fortnum and Mason’s Royal Blend tea features in their hamperling.

The experience is on offer from 23rd June until 8th September with 40 tickets available each day. Bookings open from May 1st. Prices start from £85 for two people.
