The Berkeley lets you munch on Edible Jimmy Choo treats

Fashion designers are now putting their signatures on traditional English afternoon pastries & cakes. Jimmy Choo has announced it’s first-ever association with the Berkeley in chic Knightsbridge, London with the launch of “Pret-a-Portea – The Jimmy Choo Collection”

jimmy-choo-afternoon-tea-6At the mere mention of the British luxury brand Jimmy Choo, I’m sure you have gauged that this is not your typical afternoon tea session. Berkeley’s pastry team is working in collaboration with Jimmy Choo to design a handcrafted artisanal assortment of cakes and pastries resembling their latest collection of shoes.

I can’t wait to see our designs interpreted as edible delicacies!” Sandra Choi, Creative Director Jimmy Choo.

jimmy-choo-afternoon-tea-1The chic edible collection will mark its debut at the Caramel Room at the Berkeley from 13th – 19th October 2014 from 1 pm – 6 pm every day, featuring the latest styles from the Jimmy Choo collection ranging from the quintessential pointy toe pumps to Anouk – a myriad of fashionable colours.

jimmy-choo-afternoon-tea-2Who knew you could savour a Jimmy Choo collection at a reasonable £57 ($68) per person? For £51 ($85) enjoy a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne, or alternatively for the fashion conscious, a £57 ($95) including a glass of couture champagne.
