The Four Seasons Mumbai and its dining offerings are much sought after and widely acclaimed in the city. On now at its Asian outing, San-Qi is an imaginative exposé of inspired food and whisky pairings. It lures in with tantalizing aromas, delicate flavors and Johnnie Walker Blue Label’s refined luxury.

That Asian flavors don’t always work well with wine is no big secret unlike say a 2007 Conterno Cascina Francia Barolo and cannelloni with walnuts. So busting the mythical practice of pairing everything with dry or sweet and white or red, San-Qi enters the deep, flavorsome realms of the Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Most of that lushness as we all well know, can be attributed to the whiskies that make Blue Label.

Especially selected for their individuality from some of the rarest stocks, the blends burst on the palate from the very first taste. That elusive taste only evolves with each course courtesy artisanal fare from the Highway Murgh Tikka (Hung Curd Marinated Chicken, Chillies, Garlic, Ginger) to Som Tam or Green Papaya Salad and Spicy Tuna Maki Roll. One can embark on this exceptional culinary journey that ends in a decadent fondant till 30th of April for INR 15,000 ($250) per person.
