So what decadence lies inside the $31,000, 2015 Harrods Christmas hamper

Tis the season to be jolly and we can’t express enough how jolly we’re feeling at this year’s Decadence Hamper from Harrods. As far as luxury gifts goes, this one takes the cake every year. London’s famous luxury department store is now accepting pre-orders for their popular Christmas hamper – once again called “The Decadence”, priced at £20,000 ($31,000). This top-notch goody bag is once again set to impress with its gourmet offerings that feature some fine wines, cured meats and cheese, pantry essentials, teas and coffees, 12 Christmas crackers and a Coravin 1000 Wine Access system that lets you preserve your opened wine bottles – all packed in two leather trunks.

The hamper will include 24 wines, champagnes, vintage ports, whiskies and cognacs including the Warre’s Vintage Port, Douro 1963 and a Highland Park, 30 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Other scrumptious delicacies include the popular Beluga caviar, Iberian Lomo meat and Ham, Buffalo Milk Truffle Camembert, Goose Foie Gras and a bottle of edible gold leaf infused Martine Guerrand Hermès Histoire d’O Extra Virgin olive oil and much, much more. Talk about gifting a feast!
Yes, there’s more. The hamper will also include its popular Harrods Bari Black, a loose leaf Darjeeling tea flavored with orange peel, cinnamon and ginger and Araúz Estate Omni-Grind coffee from Panama along with a coffee-blending kit to be served with their collection of preserves, honey, biscuits, truffle cream, mince pies and a 6.5kg, two-tier decorative Christmas Cake! If you’re wondering about your sweet tooth, we haven’t finished. The Hamper will also include plenty of chocolates truffles, some Turkish delights and the popular Turrón’s Excellence Gold Nougats.
Harrods has also brought in other luxury brands to add their touches to their Christmas hampers. The Ladurée Hat Box Hamper, priced at £195 ($300), features a bottle of Ladurée’s brut rosé champagne, Ladurée Blend Tea from Sri Lanka and China blended with citrus, flowers and vanilla, and plenty of Ladurée chocolates.
