Bartender on a bicycle: London’s famed Berkeley hotel’s new service will deliver cocktails to your doorstep


Well, the lockdown has surely got nothing on London’s Berkeley Hotel! In continuing to serve connoisseurs amid the pandemic, the luxury inn has started what it calls ‘Blue Bar Bikes’: a doorstep delivery service that brings your favored cocktails right to your home! Yes, that’s right!


Available all seven days of the week, the Blue Bar cocktail service will be limited only to the SW1X area. Residents from the vicinity will be able to order classic cocktails from the Blue Bar’s menu and have it delivered free of charge. And what’s more – he cocktails will be whizzed up right before the customers, lest they miss the visual show!

In addition to the made-to-order menu, pre-made cocktails (in 200ml and 500ml bottles) will also be made available such as the Negroni, Old Fashioned, Pear Tommy’s, and Pimm’s Cup, each presented in luxe Blue Bar-clad glass. Connoisseurs will further be able to purchase exclusive Blue Bar glassware (starting at £17) to live the magic to the tee.

Berkeley’s Blue Bar bikes will be available for service between 5.30 – 9 pm on all days. Connoisseurs will need to place orders via telephone to enjoy any of the bespoke cocktails starting from £18 and six bottled classic cocktails – £19 for 200ml and £43 for 500ml bottles. Delivery of course will be on the house!
