Belmond has released a short film on the re-opening of its properties in Italy

For hotels in Italy, resuming operations the pandemic could feel like a new lease of life. And in celebrating this feat, Belmond’s hotels in Italy are now reopening their doors for guests with a short film based on the beauties of their home ground. Yes, that’s right!

Aptly titled ‘My Love Letter to Italy’, the hotel group roped in Francesco Carrozzini to create the film which features a grappling visual memoir while showcasing the splendor of the country and the spirit of its people at best. It is written, directed, and narrated by the Emmy-nominated director and photographer and is aimed at luring in tourists to visit the beautiful destination once again.

The stunning film (all of 1 minute 32 seconds) displays Carrozzini’s account with the country and includes several nostalgic pulse-points. Commenting on it, Belmond in a statement on Instagram said, “From romantic encounters for ‘Amore Cortese’ to escapes in the beauty of nature and the welcome embrace of human virtues – it is time to fall in love with Italy, all over again.”
