Marriott mania in India!

India is known for its culture, warmth, and hospitality and with The Marriott International hotel coming up with the idea of tripling its portfolio in India by 2010 there is just room and more room for guests. The next 36 months will see them emerging successfully beginning with encompassing 21 properties; six lodging brands ranging from the luxury to the upper-moderate tier; and 5,524 rooms and believe me that’s way too cool! Ed Fuller, president, and managing director of international lodging of Marriott International was heard as saying,” Our goal is to appeal to a wide range of travelers, both those visiting India from abroad as well as local travelers within India and we are confident that the portfolio that we, along with our local investors and partners, are building will be appreciated for their sophisticated amenities as well as for providing good value—whether at the luxury, upscale or upper-moderate segments of the travel continuum”.
