Pamper yourself like the queen – This UK hotel will let you soak in a bathtub filled with champagne and 24K gold

If you’re in a mood to spoil yourself silly, Gift experience provider Red Letter Days and five-star boutique hotel, The Dial House from the Norfolk countryside, have a treat up their sleeves -just for you! Yes, that’s right!

Together the two have launched the ‘Champagne and 24K Gold Pamper Experience’ that will allow guests to pamper themselves like never before. The concept will include a gold-leaf facial from an experienced beauty therapist and more.

The facial per se will entail gold leaf application, a full hand and head massage, a double cleanse and exfoliation with Temple Spa products, and a gold face mask. The experience will progress to a candlelit setting, with a roll-top bath brimming with Champagne-infused waters and 24-karat gold-leaf bubbles.

Guests will be able to enjoy a bottle of champagne along with some chocolate, and gold-covered strawberries served alongside. The experience will further include an evening meal at The Dial House’s AA Rosette restaurant.

Commenting on the focus on champagne, Dr. Mike Tee of the Harley Street Skin Clinic said, “A great benefit of champagne is the antioxidants found in the grape seed extract it contains. These antioxidants are many times more powerful than vitamin C and vitamin E; grape seed extract safeguards the skin’s vital collagen and elastin from environmental free radicals.”

He further added, “As well as the antioxidants in Champagne, cellular activators such as organic acids, minerals, and vitamins are said to help slow down the aging process and repair the skin, too.”

Remarking similarly on the use of gold in skincare, Lesley Reynolds, founder of the Harley Street Skin Clinic, said, “There is certainly evidence to suggest that gold may have anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidant effects. The metal can help reduce inflammation which causes hyper-pigmentation and acne, reduce skin redness and protect against free radicals that lead to wrinkles and sun damage.”

Complete with a luxury overnight stay for two in The Italian Palace suite at The Dial House, in-room candlelit Champagne and gold-filled spa bathtub experience for two, and luxurious breakfast the morning after, the ‘Champagne and 24K Gold Pamper Experience’ by Red Letter Days and The Dial House retails at $820 (approximately). Care to indulge in some sparkling goodness?
