Revel in a scene from a classic French movie for $4,493 a night in Cannes

Hôtel Majestic Barrière in Cannes is one of the best addresses, situated at the start of the bejeweled shoreline that the French starry seaside heaven. Year after year thousands of celebrities grace the neighbouring Palais de Festivals et de Congres honouring great cinema. The hotel has opened doors to its new Mélodie suite that sounds like pure bliss. It offers a view of the beautiful idyllic bay. The interior is designed by French architect and designer Nathalie Ryan, former director of architecture with Dior. She has weaved perfect harmony between sea and screen by using blue and gray as the room’s chosen colours, with walls decorated with black white shots of movie scenes. The room is an inspiration of the 1963 French movie Mélodie en Sous-sol.

Guests booked into the room, which starts at $4,493 per night, can enjoy all the hotel’s amenities including a Clarins spa, a screening room, a Champagne lounge, four private restaurants and a private beach area.
