A rainbow of precious stones – Dior titillates jewelry lovers with the Tie & Dior collection

Victoire de Castellane, director of Dior jewelry is making the world a more vivid place one creation at a time. With her latest work though, she has injected a rainbow of colors in one go with the new ‘Tie & DIOR’ collection. This vivid jewelry collection draws inspiration from the technique of Tie Dye, one of the most sought after trends of the moment, and reinterpreted in precious and virtuous pieces by the woman who has a kaleidoscopic vision. The Tie & Dior collection is bringing together a marriage of colored stones that create an impact with contrast. For instance, the coming together of an emerald ring enveloped by a burst of pink sapphires, tsavorite garnets, Paraiba-type tourmaline, rubies, and a pistachio cultured pearl is a treat for the eyes. Victoire de Castellane’s love for mismatched earrings makes an appearance in the collection with similar materials like pink and blue sapphires, tsavorite garnets, emeralds, and two delectable-looking pistachio colored pearls. Interestingly, this is the first time that de Castellane has significantly used pearls in her 20 years at Dior and she goes all out by incorporating a variety of pearls like Tahitian and Australian pearls and dying them in rare hues like candy pinks, pistachio greens or sunny yellows and nestled amid beds of diamonds.
