Beyond beaches, beauty, and convention! Bulgari dives deep into the Mediterranean for a High Jewelry and watch collection that makes creativity and the crazy tangible!

Making the mesmerizing Mediterranean beautiful in metal is the Roman jeweler Bulgari. Mediterranea High-Jewelry Collection features High Jewelry and High-End Watches interpreting the Mediterranean in its most glorious form with one-of-a-kind timepieces and jewelry for both women and men.

“With Mediterranea, Bulgari unveils its new high jewelry and high-end watches collections by embarking on an epic and immersive journey that starts from Rome, the Eternal City and permanent source of creative inspiration for Bulgari, to Venice, the major crossroad of Mediterranean influences where the Roman-Byzantine Empire fused with the Roman Western Empire to give birth to inclusive and unrivaled arts and architecture. With great honor we celebrate the vision of the founder Sotirio Bulgari with magnificent creations that represent the pinnacle of Bulgari identity made of audacious creativity and exceptional craftsmanship. Offering to our guests the most extraordinary locations of the City together with pioneering AI driven interactive experiences further enhancing the beauty and emotions created by 2023 collection, establishing a new milestone in extraordinary goldsmithing and gems expertise,” commented Jean-Christophe Babin, Bulgari CEO.

The Mediterranean Muse necklace is a calming ode to the region’s beauty, featuring a voluptuous torchon body crafted from platinum and diamonds. The highlight is a stunning 15.13-carat cushion sapphire in a deep blue tone set against the assembled aquamarines and diamonds sheet.

The “Roman Splendor” range delves into Roman influences and Bulgari’s past with the Eternal City’s most emblematic monuments. The Roman Esedra sautoir is the perfect creation reminiscent of an iconic Bulgari piece dating back to the ’70s. The unique color matching honors the hues of the Mediterranean, while the magnetic 68.88-carat emerald set in a hexagonal pendant is synonymous with the eternal charm of the City of Rome.

East Meets West takes inspiration from three continents, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Lush exotic gardens, warm sand dunes, and Mughal-inspired motifs breathe life into three extraordinary creations flaunting 13.34-carat antique cushion emerald from Colombia, 90 carters of mandarin garnets, and 15.38-carat fancy yellow diamond drop, respectively. Is any collection complete without the snake?

Bulgari’s signature High-Jewelry emblem celebrates Maison’s 75th anniversary with the jaw-dropping Mediterranean Sapphire Serpenti necklace. It glistens with nine Sri Lankan sapphires, a total of 40.81 carats evoking snake’s scales. The masterpiece is joined by another Baroque Serpenti necklace resplendent with seven voluptuous emerald drops.

The richness of the Mediterranean underwater world shines through the exceptional Giardino Marino Grande secret watch. 3,900 hours, 4,800 colorful precious stones, 15 different types of gems, and remarkable thinking result in a timepiece as intricate as nature itself. From a wonderful web of fishes, seashells, anemones on tremblers, mobile corals, and decorated beads, one can find the watch’s dial hidden behind the central fish.

Another playful aspect of the enormous timepiece is a 3,96-carat cabochon rubellite-donning starfish and a diamond-studded seashell that can be detached to be worn as earrings complementing the watch. Intricate and ingenious! The Piccolissimo micromechanical movement powers the watch.

The second iteration, the Giardino Marino Piccolo secret watch, ditches the vibrancy and settles for cool blues. Its most attractive feature is the see-through topaz revealing the watch’s dial. The Divas’ Dream Acquarium watch is a masterclass in miniaturization sheathed under a cabochon-inspired dome. The dial is a platter for degradé Paraiba tourmalines, sapphires, diamonds, and two pear stone fishes. The awe-inspiring timepiece showcases corals, shells, and stones floating as they do in the sea world owing to tremblers.

The Octo Roma Mediterranea secret men’s watch captures the radiance of the Meditteranean in its 44 mm rose gold case set with diamonds and a blue alligator strap. The watch is outfitted with an ultra-thin manual movement, BVL 268 SK caliber, with flying tourbillon.
