‘Diamonds on your fingers and diamonds on your toes, we bet you don’t get to see a diamond glitter like this anymore. A case in point is Sotheby’s Hong Kong Magnificent Jewels sale on April 20 that will house one breathtaking, 63.66-carat, D-color, internally flawless diamond bracelet by Cartier. This glistening and overwhelming beauty took nothing less than nearly 2,000 hours to create and features a pear-shaped flawless diamond surrounded by rows of rock crystals. This phenomenal Cartier creation pays tribute to Cartier’s Iconic art deco creations and will lead the Magnificent Jewels sale for an estimated $5.2 million to $8.4 million. Keeping this stellar bracelet company is another world-class creation, a jadeite bangle weighing 277.67 carats called the Circle of Happiness. This sensational jadeite bangle weighs 277.673 carats and is described by the SSEF laboratory as “a true treasure of nature,” the estimated amount of which is only available on request.
Wenhao Yu, deputy chairman of jewelry for Sotheby’s Asia, said, “The appetite for high-quality jewels has never been stronger in Asia, with discerning collectors looking for rare diamonds and gemstones, as well as unique and iconic designs.” Sotheby’s will hold the Magnificent Jewels sale with an in-person audience and incorporate live online and phone bidding.
