Can a woman ever swear off jewelry? Not really, and Kim Kardashian is proof as she flaunted a stunning, custom 17-carat diamond belt over a sexy crop top and skirt at a Hamptons bash. Just when one thought nothing could steal the spotlight from Kardashian’s unreal curves comes a piece of jewelry with a very rare $2 million 17-carat pear-shaped diamond dangling around her waist from jeweler Messika.

The company shared that the dainty yet studded with diamonds was custom-made for the Skims founder, with Messika and her personal stylist Danielle Levia having worked together on it. Clearly, they delivered as Kardashian looked like a million bucks at Michael Rubin’s white party in the Hamptons in New York alongside sister Kendall Jenner. She looked resplendent in a crop top, figure-enhancing skirt, and a tiny waist to sport the dazzler. However, it wasn’t her beauty that generated all this buzz.

Her look generates so much publicity because Kim swore off wearing expensive jewelry and showing it off after the traumatic Paris robbery. She even shared in one of the episodes of The Kardashians, “After I was robbed in Paris, I haven’t bought jewelry, I haven’t really been about wearing jewelry,” she said. “Because when it was taken from me, I didn’t know I was ready for that experience and what that meant, but I was ready to give it up.”

As they say, time heals everything, and the allure of this fantastic million dollar rock is undoubtedly helpful in overcoming past trauma. Kardashian shared a series of images from the event on Thursday, saying she was “still recovering” from the high-profile party.
