Michael Schumacher’s legacy shines on: discover the glamorous diamond-studded bracelets crafted from his championship-winning F1 tires

“I’ve always believed that you should never, ever give up and you should always keep fighting even when there’s only a slight chance.” These inspirational words from F1 legend Michael Schumacher can be etched for inspiration, not as a tattoo but as a stylish bracelet. A series of bracelets created by the Monegasque company Mongrip serve as the right reminders every morning as they are made from the tire of Michael Schumacher’s 1996 Monza F1 GP-winning Ferrari. The fashion accessories were made in collaboration with the Schumacher family’s Keep Fighting Foundation.

Mongrip requested that the Keep Fighting Foundation provide an item that could be turned into a bracelet, and the charity came up with a left-rear Goodyear slick. It was used on the race-winning F310 in 1996, the first time Schumacher won at the Italian GP. The limited-edition range comprises 91 bracelets featuring the original woven nylon of the Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.

The tire bracelet is enhanced by a decorative clasp made of platinum with engravings of the dragon emblem reminiscent of Schumacher’s helmets, along with seven round-cut diamonds totaling 0.27ct, representing the legend’s F1 titles. Flipping the clasp reveals Schumacher’s iconic monogram akin to the F1 cockpit’s silhouette, and the serial number. The exclusive No. 1 bracelet was put up for auction with an estimated price of £15,000-£18,000.
